Ss MARTHA, MARY AND LAZARUS Priest: “Amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you….Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him.” (John 6:53, 56) O revered Curé of Ars, your greatest joy in this world was the real presence of Jesus in the tabernacle as you prayed for hours in His presence. You said that….”when our Lord sees them coming eagerly to visit Him in the Blessed Sacrament, He smiles upon them”. You, who each day, with great love, received the Lord in Holy Communion, help me develop a fervor like yours and a longing each day for Jesus in the Eucharist. O Saint John Vianney, may your example enkindle in me a love for adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Help me to approach the Lord as a little child calling “Abba” as I lay my innermost thoughts before His Sacred Heart. Keep our priests and our parish under your continual protection that we may be supported by your example and be faithfully devoted to serving Him by being His hands and His voice and never being afraid to call others to His real presence in the Blessed Sacrament. together we pray the Novena Prayer — O holy Curé of Ars, St. John Vianney, here on earth you loved God and faithfully served Him by serving His people as their Priest. Daily you prayed for your people, you did penance on their behalf, you preached the Gospel by word and example. Ask God on our behalf to send workers into His vineyard, and especially to raise up among us a new generation of ardent and faithful Priests to feed us with the Bread of Life and strengthen us by the forgiveness of our sins. Remember the vulnerabilities, fears, and anxieties that surround us and intercede for us in all our needs, especially….(here mention your own personal request). O Priest of Ars, pray for us in a special way during this novena, we ask through Christ our Lord. Amen,

Tercer día – Miércoles 29 de julio
Sans. MARTA, MARÍA Y LÁZARO Sacerdote: «En verdad les digo: si no comen la carne del Hijo del Hombre y beben su sangre, no tienen la vida en ustedes… El que come mi carne y bebe mi sangre permanece en mí, y yo en él» (Juan 6:53, 56). Oh, venerado Cura de Ars, tu mayor alegría en este mundo fue la presencia real de Jesús en el sagrario mientras orabas durante horas en su presencia. Dijiste que… «cuando nuestro Señor los ve venir con anhelo a visitarlo en el Santísimo Sacramento, les sonríe». Tú, que cada día, con gran amor, recibías al Señor en la Sagrada Comunión, ayúdame a cultivar un fervor como el tuyo y un anhelo diario por Jesús en la Eucaristía. Oh, San Juan Vianney, que tu ejemplo encienda en mí el amor a la adoración de Jesús en el Santísimo Sacramento. Ayúdame a acercarme al Señor como un niño pequeño que llama “Abba”, mientras deposito mis pensamientos más íntimos ante su Sagrado Corazón. Mantén a nuestros sacerdotes y a nuestra parroquia bajo tu continua protección para que, guiados por tu ejemplo, nos consagremos fielmente a servirle, siendo sus manos y su voz, sin temor a invitar a otros a su presencia real en el Santísimo Sacramento.
Juntos rezamos la Novena: Oh santo Cura de Ars, San Juan Vianney, aquí en la tierra amaste a Dios y le serviste fielmente como sacerdote de su pueblo. Diariamente orabas por tu pueblo, hacías penitencia por ellos y predicabas el Evangelio con la palabra y el ejemplo. Pide a Dios, por nosotros, que envíe obreros a su viña, y especialmente que suscite entre nosotros una nueva generación de sacerdotes fervientes y fieles que nos alimenten con el Pan de Vida y nos fortalezcan con el perdón de nuestros pecados. Recuerda las vulnerabilidades, los temores y las ansiedades que nos rodean e intercede por nosotros en todas nuestras necesidades, especialmente… (menciona aquí tu petición personal). Oh Sacerdote de Ars, ruega por nosotros de manera especial durante esta novena, te lo pedimos por Cristo nuestro Señor. Amén. |
